'Reaching an audience with a radio feature...' (IFC 2007)

posted 11 May 07
A modest toiletlady from Antwerp conquers the world with her latest hit single Adios Acapulco. In this song, she describes her impossible love for a Mexican stud. She is proud to present her video here on You Tube. In collaboration with Radio1 and Movies I Like.

attention for the last minute ... the text!

part of presentation at IFC 2007

"Reaching an audience with a radio feature is not always easy.
This is why we made a videoclip to promote our radio feature “Adios Acapulco ” (broadcast on Radio 1 of VRT Belgium).
In the video you get a first impression of the main character of the feature: a singing toiletlady.
After the videoclip you get a text (in Dutch).
It says “If you don’t want to see more of this, then listen”.
Then we give the viewer information about our programme and website.
The good thing about this videoclip is not only that it made quite some viewers curious about the radio feature, it also generated a lot of extra press attention in newspapers (“Toiletlady star on the internet”) and other websites."
